Tell us a little about yourself!
HIII! I am Kirsten. I have 4ish kids. (Step and foster so its hit and miss on who is home when), 3 dogs, one being a tripod. I drove school buses full time for ten years and spent the last 3 traveling to do so! I made tumblers as well so I carried all the supplies all over the country and worked in the hotel before, in between, and after routes! From there, I met some incredible people and have since create Maple Street!

What is the name of your business?
Maple Street Supply

Do you have a website?
I do. You made it :p

What type of products do you carry?
Silicone molds and other accessories.

What makes your business unique?
My customer service and willingness to listen to my customers to create products they want.

Do you run your business full time? Or is this more of a fun part-time venture for you?
Full time, all the time.

What things do you find most important when dealing with your customers?
Patience, we all had to start somewhere. Just because I've done it 43 times, this is their first. Old for me, new to them and its important to show kindness when trying to teach them!

Do you have any advice for other crafters thinking of making the leap from hobby to business?

Be prepared to work nonstop. It is more rewarding when you get to keep the rewards, but there is more risks involved. Be consistent, once you get your momentum rolling you will be unstoppable, but it takes hard work and dedication to get there.

Are there any causes that are near and dear to your heart?
Dogs. All the dogs. If I win the lotto I want to pour money into the rescues. I used to say I wanted to start one but I'd rather help the ones that are established.

Surprise! You can have ANY superpower! What do you pick, and why?

To hear what people are thinking.
